Shannah brings 25 years of real estate experience in Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, and Belmont, and surrounding communities. Prior to being with Hammond Real Estate in Cambridge for 10 years, she was Vice President and Director of Leasing for Cambridge Development and Investment Associates, best known for the conversion of the 1928 art deco Sears, Roebuck building in Porter Square to an urban retail/office mall, the Porter Exchange, home to Lesley College and a mix of retail tenants.
Shannah loves residential real estate and working closely with her buyers and sellers on one of the most important transactions they will make in a lifetime. She is known for her patience, attention to detail, and finding her buyers the home of their dreams. She has a particular penchant for older houses with interesting character and is known for her skill in helping clients present their homes to the marketplace in the best possible light.
Shannah lives in Belmont with her husband, daughter, and their Italian greyhound, Vivienne.
Shannah was a trustee and resident at the Carr Schoolhouse Condominiums for 20 years, a parent representative and fundraiser at Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge for 10 years, and is on the Board of the Powers Music School in Belmont. Her daughter attends Concord Academy. She and her husband own properties in Cambridge, Arlington, and Belmont. When not at work, Shannah enjoys spending time with her family skiing, snowboarding, sailing, horseback riding, antiquing, and their summer excursions to Little Compton, Rhode Island.
